Mountain Lovers

It all started for us (Grit & Tobias) on a cold & rainy January evening, in a bar in Hamburg. Hungry for sun & rock climbing and after a few beers, the idea of a guesthouse in sunny Spain was born.
The next morning we looked into our eyes:
- Do you know what I've been dreaming about all night ...? - Really? Me too!
We had the same dream: we will move to Spain!

Jobs canceled, website online & first bookings in our pocket; with tailwind and a good mood we left 14 months later towards the south - Olé Olé!

In April 2006, our dream came true: we opened the Climbing-Lodge Guesthouse & Climbing School in El Chorro!

Our children Leo & Merle were born here in Spain and we are very grateful that so many of our dreams have come true.

We love El Chorro's mountains & we'll stay here!
